MOOCs and Open Education Around the World is a edited collection which examines topics having to do with open educational resources (OERs) and massive open online courses (MOOC). The latest advances in distance learning technology enable people in all parts of the world to take part in courses online. These online MOOCs are mostly free for students but do not lead to formal accreditation. There are a lot of topics that technology-enhanced learning organizations are having to struggle with in 2015 because distance learning technology is developing so fast.
