MOOCs and Open Education Around the World is a edited collection which considers topics related to open educational resources (OERs) and massively open online courses. Recent improvements in online learning are making it possible for people in all parts of the world to take part in online classes. MOOCs are usually free but do not lead to formal accreditation. There are several subjects that technology-enhanced learning institutions are having to struggle with today because learning technology is advancing so swiftly. How can institutions assure that the quality of instruction provided by these MOOC courses is good?
